One of the things I like about watching "the Deadliest Catch", is that it is a REAL reality program. Most so- called reality show's are so heavily scripted it makes you wonder who do they think they're fooling? They should be called "Scripted Reality". You can't say that about "Deadliest Catch". By the time the show is over; I am wrapped in a blanklet freezing, sea sick, physically exhausted and I can swear the air smells like salt water & fish. "That's what you call REALITY". I am so into this show.

  • Matt Bradley's (Northwestern) punching out a fish. And later fighting with a Greenhorn.

  • Greenhorn Jason Moilanen (Wizard) getting a hole punched into his wounded fingernail, then squeezing out the fluid. "UCK".
  • Not that ucky, but a little it is; the Northwestern's tradition of biting off fish heads. I get it. But "UCK"!

My Deadlist Favorite Way To Enjoy Crab.


DCFan4Life's Crab Salad Recipe
22 1/2 cups - cooked chunk king crab pieces
1 cup - coarse chopped celery
1 finely chopped shallot
Set a side.
For dressing : in a food processor mix (on pulse) until well blended.
1/4 cup - Mayonnise 1/4 cup - plain yogurt 1/4 cup - baby arugula 1 garlic clove 2 Tablespoon - fresh squeezed lemon juice 2 Tablespoon - olive oil 1/2 teaspoon (or to your taste) sea salt 1/8 teaspoon (or to your taste) coarse black pepper
Mix dressing with crab meat, celery & shallot.
Serve with Flat Bread Crackers, Or Hard Crusted Toasted Bread, Or in IceBerg Lettuce Leaves.
