This is the photo I entered into the look alike contest. I pick Capt. John as my best doppleganger. Of course about a gazillion other guys entered as Hillstrand too! A couple of folks even voted for me, crazy huh?

Would be biologist, chemist, photographer, writer, teacher, storyteller, biker, camper, canoeist, freshwater fisherman, general outdoor enthusiast and Deadliest Catch couch potato. I'm a sci-fi fan and enjoy a good horror story. I think history is interesting and that we are doomed to endlessly repeat our mistakes until we learn from it.

So I'm trying my hand at making a few cursors. Once you download it you can preview its actual size by dropping it into a blank tab or open browser. Or in the download dialog you can open the file with your browser, but you'll have to download the actual file again and save it to disk. :)

This is for Windows XP installation only! All you Vista and Windows 9x users will have to noodle it out for yourselves.

Download the cursor file to your desktop or wherever you can find it by right clicking and Save Link As (Firefox) or Save Target As (IE).

From the Desktop: click Start hover over the control panel click on mouse click on the "Pointers" tab click browse grab and drop the ***.cur file in with all the other cursors It will be last on the list (unless you close the window in which case it will be in alphabetical order in the .cur files). Click on it. A preview will appear in the lower window. Open the file. Click Apply. Click OK. You're done! This is now your default cursor. All other cursor defaults will be unchanged. To change to another cursor, follow the the above directions and choose a new one from the cursor directory.

The old adage still stands, if there wasn't a screen capture it never happened! So I got mine right here sweethearts.
