 SEASON FOUR Deadliest Catch--djdeb's weekly thoughts: Episode one (April 15th): _______________________________ First off, I was so excited to have DC back!! I loved the starting pictures of the captains on the top of the snow covered mountain. (we joked on the chat room as to how they got there.. did they climb.. they are captains after all.. ) Cornelia Marie: I was a lil' concerned with Phil's youngest son and his BIG purchase.. But it must get a little boring out there. Hopefully he will share it with the crew, so no dissension will arise. I would have expected it more from Josh, but maybe we are going to see more of Jake's personality this year. Time Bandit: There seems to be some trouble brewing... could it be the new family addition.. Seems a lil' cocky... Oh I hope not as I love the way they get along on this boat. Also I hope their mom's premonition is not correct. The Car trick tops all!! Who would have thought to do that? only these guys!! So will there be a helicopter in our future?!?!? SIDE COMMENTS: It was neat to see a new way to catch crab. The line fishing was scary to watch and seems really technical. Interesting to see more... Great to chat with one of the brothers on the WIZARD. He did not answer my question, but it was cool to see all his other answers. You can check out the transcripts at the DC discovery site. Till we meet again on the ocean shore or on the wiki site,,,,,,,,,  Episode two (April 22nd): I am beginning to think I need to not chat on the wiki chat during the show as I think I am missing alot. Except it's so neat to discuss the show as it's happening. Early Dawn: loved the prayer on the Early Dawn (Early Dawn Wiki Page). It will be interesting to get to know this crew. Even though they were on DC last season, I can hardly recall them. I feel bad for the owner's son. Leave the kid's weight out of making fun of him. Though they stated he has improved this season. Cornelia Marie: I knew they would leave us hanging regarding Phil. We had some folks on the chat wanting to give everyone spoilers regarding this. I will not do that!! I promise... I liked to see Josh being concerned about dad's well being. Wizard: What a angry captain!! When the other boat was checking his pots. (side note edgar talked about this on last night's chat). A memorable moment was when the captain smiled when they got a good pot, then proceeded to spit in his cup. It ruined the celebratory moment for me.. Ughhh.. North western: I have but 4 words to say "PHIL'S LOOK OF ANGER" Ya'll I was so excited to have Edgar answer two of my questions. I asked if he would want his children/and or family to enter this field of work. He said NO for his kids and yes for his family as he did not like them. Edgar's humor was throughout the chat. Look for me on the transcripts djdeb sing!!! UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN ON THE OCEAN SHORE OR ON THE WIKI SITE..... Episode thre e (April 29th): I am finally getting to this and it's two days till the next episode... Oh well.. Let's see first I have to say GROSS!!! to Moi's finger popping uck... But I give him "Thumbs up" for doing it. Maybe he's tougher than they all thought. Felt bad the crew of the Northwestern had to suffer due to the sibling rivalry of Edgar and Sig.. poor guys. But it's always cool to show the OLDER sibling up. Time bandit: what a sentimental side we are seeing of them. Felt bad johnathon's son quit... did ya hear what the one crew member said about him being a weekend fisherman something or another.. hmmm.. Poor guy that broke his ankle It will be interesting to see if they will keep him. SIDE COMMENT: I enjoyed the chat with Johnathon on Discovery but felt it was cut short by his son joining the chat then all the questions were about him, not as it was presented as a chat with jonathon. But enjoyable none the less. Last but not least. CORNELIA MARIE: It's like watching an train wreck happening. Poor phil.. Golly I hope we do not have to see him suffer all season. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN ON THE OCEAN SHORE OR ON THE WIKI SITE..... ~~~~~~~~~~FISHING FUNNIES~~~~~~~~~~~  This cracked me up.. hope it brightens your day! (This was sent to me from an email friend) A note to all my fishing friends; "Make sure the one you are fishing with has a brain"!!!!!! Fishing Advice Two buddies are fishing, but they haven't caught anything all day. Then another fisherman walks by with a huge load of fish. They ask him, "Excuse me, but where did you get all those fish?" The other fisherman replies, "If you just go down the stream until the water isn't salty, you will find a ton of hungry fish." They thank him and go on their way. Fifteen minutes later, one fisherman says to the other, "Fill the bucket up with water and see if the water is salty." He dips the bucket in the stream and drinks some. "Nope. Still salty." Thirty minutes later, he asks him to check again. "Nope, still salty." One hour later they check again. "Nope. Still salty." "This isn't good," one fisherman finally says. "We have been walking for almost two hours and the water is still salty!" "I know," says the other.
