Thoughts from LadyFogg:
First off, I was so excited to have DC back!! I loved the starting pictures of the captains on the top of the snow covered mountain. (we joked on the chat room as to how they got there.. did they climb.. they are captains after all.. )
Cornelia Marie:
I was a lil' concerned with Phil's youngest son and his BIG purchase.. But it must get a little boring out there. Hopefully he will share it with the crew, so no dissension will arise. I would have expected it more from Josh, but maybe we are going to see more of Jake's personality this year.
Time Bandit:
There seems to be some trouble brewing... could it be the new family addition.. Seems a lil' cocky... Oh I hope not as I love the way they get along on this boat. Also I hope their mom's premonition is not correct.
The Car trick tops all!! Who would have thought to do that? only these guys!! So will there be a helicopter in our future?!?!?
SIDE COMMENTS: It was neat to see a new way to catch crab. The line fishing was scary to watch and seems really technical. Interesting to see more... Great to chat with one of the brothers on the WIZARD. He did not answer my question, but it was cool to see all his other answers. You can check out the transcripts at the DC discovery site.

- Chatroom. Being in the chatroom during the show is one of the greatest things ever! I got to talk with several different people that really made the viewing experience that much more grand. Specific shout-outs to my twin (djdeb) & greenhorn gabber. Loved chatting with you guys! Looking forward to it next week.
- Pranks. Though I have to admit that the flour prank is still l my favorite, the truck at the end of the line was pretty much epic! :D I just cant wait to see how poor Phil is going to retaliate.
- Jake Anderson. He's back! -dances- My favorite little greenhorn. Oh, how I love him. I just about had a heart attack when he turned up missing! But he's back where he belongs on the Northwestern and all is well. I hope he can hang in there throughout the season & prove himself like last year.
- Soundtrack. I love the songs they use on Deadliest Catch. I really would like a soundtrack to the show. Did anyone catch the name of the song at the end of the first episode?
- Other Jake. Not so impressed with you right now, Other Jake. Spending your Daddy's money on a television? That's something your brother would do. Don't become an arrogant snot. Go back to your season three self.
- Superstitions. Well, I have heard of some odd ones - but searching down a Cup of Noodles for five hours? That's a new one on me. haha, loved the greenhorn that tried to bring poor Keith a coffee mug instead. De-nied!
- Bad Mojo. The Blessing of the Fleet was cut short...a Mother has a bad premonition...and no herring heads were bitten off! this simply does not bode well.
