About the Boat:
The Cornelia Marie is a 128-foot all steel, twin screw vessel, with house aft fishing boat(Eastern Rigged) that carries 180 pots and has the capacity to hold 312,000 pounds of crab. She was built in 1989 in Bayou La Batre Alabama by Horton Boats, Inc.
She is named after Cornelia Marie Devlin, who has worked in the fishing industry since 1979 and owns the the majority of the vessel with Phil Harris.

I am not trying to knock anyhing here. But IIRC the Cornelia Marie has a pair of Detroit Diesels in the engine room. There is an old saying about Detroit Diesels. "If it's not leaking oil you better check it. It may not have any". They are like the AMF Harley Davidsons. The quality control was not there when AMF owned them.
