Enter for a chance to win an invitation to attend a Deadliest Catch VIP party through the Deadliest Catch Wiki! Discovery Channel is hosting VIP parties in two U.S. cities to celebrate the upcoming premiere of season 4. If you live in or near Philadelphia or Seattle, here’s your chance to enjoy Alaskan crab and a beer with your favorite captains in person!
HOW TO ENTER
1. Sign up for a free username on the Deadliest Catch wiki. If you are already a member of this site, you do not need to register again; use your existing username and profile.
2. Navigate to your profile page and complete the “I am a Deadliest Catch Superfan” template (click the EasyEdit button on your profile when logged in to apply and complete the Superfan template). Your profile will not be considered eligible unless you also upload a photo or avatar, if you haven't already done so. (To upload an avatar image, sign in to the site and navigate to your profile; then click the "add image" link and follow the instructions. Need an avatar? Check out this page.)
3. To complete your entry in the sweepstakes, post a comment on this page that says, “Enter me in the Deadliest Catch Superfan Sweepstakes.” REMEMBER, you are not eligible for the drawing if you have not completed step number two above.

SWEEPSTAKES DATES
| THE PRIZE Forty (40) users will be randomly chosen to each receive two (2) VIP passes to the Deadliest Catch season launch parties. Each prize constitutes the VIP party access invitation only; travel to the party is not included and is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners and guests must be 21 or older to attend and must bring a valid I.D. to the event. Approximate retail value (APR) of the prize is $200.00. |
PROMOTION PERIOD
This sweepstakes begins at 9:00:01 a.m., Pacific Time (“PT”), on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m PT on Friday, April 11, 2008. (Mail-in entries must be postmarked by April 11, 2008, and will be accepted through April 14, 2008. See Official Sweepstakes Rules for additional information.)
ABOUT THE DEADLIEST CATCH VIP PARTIES
The Deadliest Catch captains are going on the road to celebrate season 4 of Deadliest Catch. If you live in or near Philadelphia or Seattle, you can join them for crab legs and a beer. You’ll be among the first to preview new episodes and receive a copy of the new book Deadliest Catch: Desperate Hours. Don’t miss your chance to be a Deadliest Catch Superfan and VIP Parties will be held on the following dates:
Philadelphia: April 22nd
Seattle: May 6th
