It has been along time since I have been around the docks but it seems the best way i remember was to just be there at the right time i would recommend checking out the DOLWD seafood section on some places to start from if you are already in or going to be in the state here is the link also make sure you have read up on everything comming to AK is like comming to a different country you cannot just drive away plan ahead make sure you always have a way>out< http://labor.state.ak.us/esd_alaska_jobs/SeafoodSpecs.htm
