The last eposode was rather hard to watch. I just lost my mother inlaw to Lung Cancer, she too coughed up blood and she was just as tough at Phil! I am praying for you Phil, we love you and hope that you heal up. I know how hard it is to quit smoking, and also to listen to others who think they know best. Just take care of yourself, and its ok to allow others to help you, so quit being so stubborn. I understand why you put off getting the help, but sometimes you just need to allow others to help. God bless you and your sons!

A big cheer goes out to two of the top veterans on the Bering Sea. I read an update last night on a Cornelia Marie site that Captain Phil is doing a whole lot better and is taking the medications that the Dr's gave him. Goes to show that these 2 Captains are the best of the best!!!!!!

I just read the article about your near death experience at sea. My best wishes to you and your family for a speedy and total recovery. I was angry at the Discovery Channel for cutting the Cornelia Marie out of this weeks episode, but I'll forgive them if you get well. I was hoping to attend one of the events that you do during the summer - forget it now. Stay home, do a favor for all those people that care about you and take this summer to heal. Take care.
