On some of the shows, Mike Rowe will announce that a particular crab boat has met its quota and is heading back to port to offload. What happens to the pots, if any, that are left to soak? Does the boat return to pick them up later? Are they left on the bottom? Or, do they keep picking up pots after they meet their quota?

Well I'm not much help because I am not sure but I would imagine they finish picking them up befor they go because you wouldnt leave them there the cost of pots....whew.
