Sig is on his way to a shorter life and I care
May 13 2008, 11:08 PM EDT I hate to say it but the Captain Sig is in need of getting a hold of his life as far as it goes with the smoking, long hours greasy foods and lots of stress. He seems to be a really nice guy and I hate to see him with those problems hanging over him. He is a prim candidate for a heart problem and I only hope that he will take charge of his own personal life and do something for his health "A concerned viewer" 5 out of 16 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 14 2008, 5:45 AM EDT I think you could say the same for most of these guys. It's just a sailor's lifestyle, I suppose. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Sig is on his way to a shorter life and I care
May 14 2008, 11:07 AM EDT I agree whole heartedly. I worry about Sig constantly. At the same time I worry about all the guys. They all live this way.... and lets not forget that Phil's health reports have not been great. He is at the top of my list for worries right now. Phil and Sig both have talked about and tried to quite smoking. It is starting to appear these things are in their minds. I can't imagine though how hard it would be to change such inbread habits, the habits that they use to keep them going. I used to travel across the country by car for the business I owned at the time, driving all hours of the night. Speaking from some personal experience you have to do what you have to do to get to the money. Now that I am off the road, I will say I am much healthier now than I was then. But in the end I am a concerned admirer as well. Just keep sending them your good thoughts! :) 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Sig is on his way to a shorter life and I care
May 15 2008, 8:23 AM EDT Well I do agree but I always look at it this way and this is only my opinion..... When your old enough to know better then you know what you are doing to yourself. I see it as he and the rest of the men know what they are doing and its their life style. Do you find this valuable? |

I just wanted to let him know that I myself wish him only great health and to attain this he hast to do it himself. Sig is only 41 years old and has alot of life left in him and I only hope this will happen. As for the other captains and other personnel on the boats I feel the same way. May god convenience cover them wherever they are. Jon Do you find this valuable? |

Yes, I think he should quit smoking. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
