Northwestern is Awesome!
Jun 27 2008, 2:07 PM EDT This is by far the most awesome captain and crew of Deadliest Catch. The intro of the show where they show the N'western breaking a wave, and then move into a slo-mo pic of Cap'n Sig in a low-cast shadow is HOT! He's a formidable, but fair, guy. And who the hell doesn't love Edgar?! He's the best (did you see him drinking a Coke at the bar, when everyone else was drinking beer?). I have really come to love the Croation, Nick (just a good, hard worker). And Matt. Well, you gotta love him if Edgar does. He certainly makes for good entertainment whether he's got a jail sentence looming, or he's eating a cheese sandwich on deck (to Sig's dismay). And Jake's attitude will match Edgar's one day. 6 out of 12 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 4 2008, 4:33 PM EDT That shot of Sig slowly turning, and then we see his beautiful blue eyes. Sig and the Northwestern are 3 of the top captains on the Bering Sea. Edgar is a hoot, and I think HIS voice is sexy. Do you find this valuable? |

You can't help but love them all, especially Edgar, he is just hilarious whether it's his attitude, his sense of humor, or his iron stomach that draws you to him, once your there you're hooked. I too think Jake will be alot like him after a few seasons out on the boat. Oh and I also noticed Edgar drinking Pop at the bar. I read somewhere..(Maybe his Myspace) that he's not really a big drinker anymore. But if he was to get his party on it would be Crown and coke. lol Do you find this valuable? |

"Absolutely the best part of the opening of the show. Sig's eyes are just hauntingly beautiful in that shot. When he punches the air I punch it with him. And when he slams his fist down and says "I want the crab count and I want it NOW!!!!!!!" in ads I slam and punch along with him. Do you find this valuable? |

Sig is the classiest and his crew is by far the most colorful, probably due to Edgar's wonderful personality, it's better late than necessary. I have a thred myself entitled "The Northwestern".
